Three Important Benefits of Fellowship: Inspiration, Ideas and ConnectionsThe Benefits of Fellowship: Inspiration, Ideas and Connections
One of the most unique and powerful activities from which Initiator Fellows benefit is an exercise we call the Brain Trust. Happening this fall, this facilitated exercise surrounds each Fellow with a group of six smart and highly accomplished individuals who help the Fellow problem-solve and dream big in the face of some unique challenge or opportunity.
With seven Fellows in this cohort, our Brain Trust will include 42 business executives and entrepreneurs, academic and foundation leaders, bankers, communication experts and lawyers. An Initiators Fellowship alumni recently ended an email to me by writing, “I love the Brain Trust.” We’re confident our current Fellows will as well!
To complement our November Brain Trust, Fellows will be joined in a training/networking session by recently selected Finnovation Fellows. The Finnovation Fellowship is a Twin Cities-based program affiliated with Finnegan’s Brewing and its well-known Finnovation Lab social enterprise program. This will be the first time we’ve been able to connect our two groups to share a training opportunity, expand networks, and wander around in the broader field of social enterprise. We’ll let you know how it goes.
